Hi everyone. Good evening. Adel’s here.
I am back with another update. Some good and some not really exciting.
First of all, I have finished my clinical rotation. Well at least the regular session. But the result is somehow … heart breaking. I didn’t pass all the exam. Anaesthesia, my one true questionable companion. Out of 126 students, 96 of us had to repeat the cycle. Shocking, not really. Sad and frustrated, a bit. However, surely there’s no other way to solve this other than facing the problem head on. I need to pass in order to join the final exam on April-May 2020. Honestly speaking, the urge to study hasn’t shown up yet (LOL) but we’ll get there…. soon. #crossingfingers. I am happy for some of my friends tho. They managed to pass in one go. Good luck for the exams lovelies! One month to freedom! Huhuhu! #youknowwhoyouare :)
Second, I have finished rewriting my June section. Believe me, you will see a different side of Genoveva Verena Adella in those poems. May I remind you that not everything in the book actually happened. The book itself is only “inspired” from what I experienced in life this whole time ;) To spice things up, let me give you guys some spoilers. May will be a transition, June is “an eye opening” section #upsie, July and August mostly talk about self-love and recovery. That’s the end of spoiler section :’D. And… just a friendly reminder. The first book is still up for grabs. So make sure to contact me via Instagram DM (@genoadella) or chat me personally through Line (geno_veva) and/or Whatsapp to order. The information regarding the book is available on Project(s) page.
Thirdly, maintaining 2020 resolution has not been that rough these couple weeks. I can feel my life to be more organised and that actually is really helping in maintaining a positive vibe and mood. I go to gym almost everyday, do an hour cardio then go back home to either study, read or relax. In a way, I rewarded my body with some leisure time, something that I have taken away from it for almost 6 years. More self love, yes please!
Fourth, DBC Concert is officially back! #victorydance Again, since it’s really new, I can’t say much about it. However, knowing that it will be held again this year is already thrilling enough. There are some changes, some major some minor but hey, a girl can accept those conditions as long as this loving tradition continues. I am happy that people will have the opportunity to create and become a member of an accepting family. Who knows it can become a safe haven again for another “lost soul” like me. Thank Lord!
Ehm, I guess that’s all for now.
Thank you so much for all the support and I hope your new year starts off good or even better than you expected!
Love, always and forever
Genoveva Verena Adella
